AT 09: 01 NIGHT / 02 DAYS – TREELODGE (ROAD)
0900hrs, Pick-up from Hotel and depart Nairobi driving through the lush Kikuyu farmlands to the Aberdare Country Club / Outspan / Mountain Lodge larriving for lunch. Afternoon, transfer to The Ark / Treetops. This lodge overlooks a water hole and salt lick high in the Aberdares / Mount Kenya National Park. It is famous for the animals it attracts and for the sheer joy of exploring a house visited by rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, bushbuck, waterbuck and many other wild species. As night draws in floodlights illuminate the water hole and here you may view elephant, rhino, giant forest hog, leopard, antelope and Cape buffalo. The whole night is spent viewing game from the intimate surrounding of your room, dinner is then served and guests stay overnight.
After breakfast, depart and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon hours. Transfer to the Airport for departure flight or to Nairobi Hotel. |
